Venezuelan-born guitarist, bandleader, composer and music educator Rafael Cárdenas is an active member of Seattle’s music scene. Drawing from jazz, Latin American music, Brazilian music, and bossa nova, he leads his own trio and quartet with a modern, groove-driven sound. Through years of private mentorship, performing, and teaching, Rafael has developed a distinctive musical voice that brings together tradition, improvisation, and Latin rhythm.
Please note: Ticket prices go directly to the talented musicians performing. There is also a $20 per person food and beverage minimum during ticketed shows—this helps us support our amazing staff and continue bringing incredible live music to the Bistro.
