World War II caught many Europe-based stars at the height of their careers. This show will feature songs famously sung by four prominent women singers of the time—Edith Piaf, Josephine Baker, Marlene Dietrich, and Romania's Maria Tanase—and explore how they each used their fame and influence to spy on the Nazis, stand up against Fascism, cheer on the troops, and help Jewish people escape. Featuring Robin Kallsen on vocals, Jennie Mayer on guitar, Rachael Contorer on bass, Karin Kajita on piano, and Alicia DeJoie on violin.
Please note: Ticket prices go directly to the talented musicians performing. There is also a $20 per person food and beverage minimum during ticketed shows—this helps us support our amazing staff and continue bringing incredible live music to the Bistro.
