The Tyack-Jones-Leighton Band will be performing a curated set of music by some of their biggest influences: Jackson Browne, Ry Cooder, Warren Zevon, and David Lindley—along with some of Jones’s original songs.
Dan Tyack - A true innovator on pedal steel and lap steel guitar, Dan’s career spans the Grand Ole Opry to Carnegie Hall to Wembley Stadium. He’s shared stages and studios with legends including Asleep at the Wheel, Vince Gill, Jackson Browne, Graham Nash, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Charlie Louvin, Jean Shepard, Lacy J. Dalton, Dottie West, Donna Fargo, Hoyt Axton, Steve Gadd, Jerry Marotta, Tony Levin, Holly Figueroa, Skerik, and Bill Frisell. Kevin Jones once dubbed by Seattle Weekly “Seattle’s version of Jackson Browne” is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer/songwriter and performs in a wide variety of settings. Kevin is a founding member of the Northwest treasured “3 Track Mind” and leads the “Kevin Jones Band” and sits in with many other NW artists. He’s played NCB several times. Chris Leighton on drums and percussion. Chris’s drumming is a force of nature and he is a master at creating rhythms that will penetrate your soul. A multi-year winner of "Best Drums" by The Washington Blues Society, he has shared stages with Bill Frisell, Ben E King, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Danny O’Keefe, Diane Schuur, Eddie Harris, Herb Ellis, Long John Baldry, Randy Bachman, The Beach Boys, The Drifters, Thelma Huston to name only few. http://chrisleighton.com/bio.html
