FRIDAY - January 24th - The Unknowns

The Unknowns are a five-piece band whose music blends the rich textures of vintage jazz, blues, and soul with a vibrant, contemporary pop twist. With their signature three-part vocal harmonies supported by keyboard, guitar, ukulele, acoustic bass, and drums, they bring a fresh, polished approach to both original songs and timeless jazz standards. The band draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of R&B, Motown, Broadway ballads, and swing, creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and thoroughly modern.

 

The Unknowns recently finished a successful summer tour to Montreal, playing at Maison du Jazz, and continued on to play jazz clubs and festivals in France, Belgium, Denmark and Norway.  Adding to their momentum, The Unknowns were recently voted Best New Group by HUGS Radio WRGG. With this honor and the success of their recent tour, The Unknowns are proving that their unique combination of vintage and modern sounds has a broad and passionate following.
