The Mark DuFresne Band": Grammy Nominated, three octave tenor, Mark Dufresne (Dufrane) leads the Mark DuFresne Band through tight sets of original rhythm and blues, soul, ballads and blues. A multi  WBA award winner for Best Harmonica, Best Blues Song Writer, Best Blues Singer and Best Band. Mark is a powerhouse singer and a consummate stage performer. A native of Kansas City Missouri Mark has been in the NW since 1979. Starting in 2002 Mark was a Member of “Roomfull of Blues” for 5 years and toured the US and Europe extensively.
               On Guitar, WBA Blues Hall of Fame Guitarist Billy Stapleton holds down all guitar duties, Rhythm, Lead and Slide Guitar. Billy was a transplant from San Francisco California in 1986 and has played all over the US. Billy was the guitarist for NW icon Little Bill and the Bluenotes for over 24 years. Mark and Billy  have consistently put together super tight stage shows. 
               On Fender bass the great Kelly Leifer. Kelly has played with Mark for over twenty years and is an integral component to the original material and song arrangements. Originally from Marysville WA Kelly is an outstanding musician who attended the prestigious Berkley School of Music in Boston. Kelly has played with a number of high quality NW bands, Steve Bailey’s Blue Flames, Henry Cooper and Nick Vigarino. 
               From Salt Lake City Utah, on Drums and Vocals Steve Peterson. Steve has been the back beat of the Northwest since his teen years. He left home at 18 to tour with “The Bill Williams Show” and has since played with NW bands,  Red Dress, The Wailers, Los Orchids, Powerhouse, The Daily Flash and of course the legendary Kingsmen. Steve has played to audiences all over the world, has his own “On the Mound” recording studio, and plays guitar, bass, and keys as well as drums. 

Please note: Ticket prices go directly to the talented musicians performing. There is also a $20 per person food and beverage minimum during ticketed shows—this helps us support our amazing staff and continue bringing incredible live music to the Bistro.
