Todo Es plays Latin jazz. The band’s unique sound combines alluring vocals by songwriter and percussionist Rebecca Garcia; vibraphone, steel pan, trumpet, flugelhorn, flute, guitar, bass and percussion; infectious Afro-Cuban, Caribbean and Brazilian grooves, and modern jazz improvisation. Their recent CD of original Latin jazz music, entitled Elemento, has been featured on KNKX’s Jazz Caliente, and was named one of Jazz 24’s “Top 5 jazz albums of 2022”, an honor that also included “WARNING: their music has been known to cause spontaneous dancing.”
