The New Rhythmatics, a Seattle-based 5-piece, has been playing a lively, danceable mix of vintage tunes around Pacific Northwest venues since 2014. Veterans of various local and national groups, their fluid repertoire flows around the earliest blues masters, 40’s big band, 50’ country, ’60’s pop gold, and ’70’s swamp soul. The band offers an incredible variety of great music played with energy and a high level of musicianship.
The New Rhythmatics’ debut CD garnered rave reviews in the April 2017 issue of the Washington Blues Society’s Bluesletter and the November 2017 issue of Heritage Music Review. Relax and groove or get up and move to our fresh take on familiar and soon-to-be familiar songs!
