Jevon Powell celebrate making music since August 2003. Their music runs from soulful rhythm & blues to roots rock and pop. Sometimes acoustic, sometimes electric, sometimes both! Influenced by musicians like Clapton, Petty, Patsy and Etta, they write great songs with rich harmonies, catchy hooks, and foot stomping beats.
The McPage & Powell acoustic duo was named Best Solo/Duo in 2023 by the Washington Blues Society (WBS). Mary was also awarded Best Female Vocalist in 2023, and Performer of the Year in 2009.
