Singer, fiddler and guitarist Kat Bula has made a name for herself through her collaborations with other artists, among them the #1 FOLK-DJ charting Coty Hogue Trio, College Music Journal Top 100 charting artist Pirates R Us, and Nashville recording artist Jessica Lynne.
Her quirky, frequently humorous songwriting (formerly released under the moniker “Thimble vs. Needle” with collaborator Chris Stainback) has been called “conversational” and “provocatively earnest,” drawing comparisons to Randy Newman, Father John Misty, and Kimya Dawson.
