John Pinetree & The Yellin’ Degenerates are an eclectic collective of musicians who blend genres and decades of the american musical experience.  Jazz, blues, funk, soul,and all world music are considered in the writing and curating of the music performed. All the music is served with homage and respect to the artists who created it and the myriad  human conditions that inspired it’s creation. Each set list is created as a tonic of the times in the hopes of creating a  relatable , sometimes joyous, sometimes cathartic series of moments to be shared between musician and listener.  Improvisation and the schtick that resides within the individual players are celebrated and employed freely.
