Maintaining the tradition of Jazz performance through expression, creativity and personal
communication with audience. Brian Kirk, vibraphonist, drummer and educator has performed with the
Pointer Sisters, Jimmy Scott, Lou Donaldson and many other Jazz greats. Kirk leads this ensemble playing
the vibraphone with stellar musicians Jean Chaumont (guitar) James Clark (bass and vocals) Ronnie
Bishop (drums) The group performs a variety of repertoire of Wes Montgomery, Milt Jackson, Cal Tjader
in addition to popular songs from Stevie Wonder and the Beatles. The BKQ offers a uniquely soulful and
