|3/14/2021• A MESSAGE FROM
Amazing New Features, and at Such Great Savings!! Getting Closer to Phase 3 🙂 No Live Music Quite Yet Though 🙁
It was a good week overall, not Great but Good.
Thank you All for your continued support. We are seeing the light at the end of this dark tunnel.
As for new Feature wines, I have a few to offer that are not only Wonderful Reds, but we got Great pricing and can pass those savings on to you. For Feature Wines or Spirits, to input your order, please follow these instructions to make things much easier.
Please order a minimum of 3 of any wine, for a total of 6 or 12 bottles.. Hit REPLY but do NOT send until you scroll down and fill out your order, by putting the # of bottles you want below each Feature wine or Spirit.
For Quarantine Cases, please read details below the Feature options. That’s just how it works 🙂 If some of these wines look familiar to a few of you Wine Club members, that’s because I used a couple them in our recent Wine Club offerings. Since then, I was offered even better pricing, by buying “quantity”, and can offer them at better prices than even Costco can do!!
Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 This wine was a Hit, when I offered the previous vintage as a Feature a few months back, but this new vintage is even Better!! Here are the Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby in color, Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon expresses aromas of fresh black currants and cherries accompanied by subtle smoky notes and dried spices. On the palate, this lavish powerful wine is layered with juicy blackberry, ripe cherry, vanilla bean and brown butter. It’s full-bodied and rich, balanced by a touch of bright acidity and firm polished tannin This first New Feature can be had for about $47 at Costco, and anywhere from $42-$60 online, but we can offer it to you for: $35 by the 6-pk or
Caymus-Suisun Grand Durif 2017 Here are the Winemaker Notes: Suisun (su-soon) Valley, which lies to the Southeast of Caymus, is only a 40-minute drive and reminds the Wagner family of Napa Valley 40 years ago. With its warm days and cool nights, the region is known for delicious stone fruits and walnuts – increasingly, it is also gaining recognition for its wine. Durif is synonymous with Petite Sirah, the widely grown grape in the region – they added “Grand” to the name of the Suisun-grown Durif because it has a grand style. With lush textural tannins, this wine is rich, supple and totally enjoyable. This wine is available online for anywhere from $55-$63, but with the deal we got, we can now offer it to you for: $43 by the 6-pk or
Tenuta Di Arceno Valadorna 2015 And Finally, for an Incredible Super Tuscan, just read this description of the blend and tasting notes, and decide for yourself if this isn’t worth a try: The Wine Advocate scored this 95+ points saying “The 2015 Valadorna (65% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot) is a dark and thickly endowed red wine that boasts a rich and lasting grip on the palate. The bouquet offers depth and complexity with dark fruit, leather, cured tobacco and spice. There are also softer notes of chocolate and ground espresso beans. The wine’s seamless integration of flavors leads to increased momentum and intensity as the wine continues to open in the glass.” Again, this is available online for anywhere from $50-$80, but with the Quantity Buy we just made, you can buy this Beauty for: $37 by the 6-pk or
We are able top revisit one of the Greatest Hits from last year, since the distributor was able to get their hands on more Basel Cabernet, at a slightly higher price, but still a Great Deal! (The pic is the Cab Franc, but we actually are getting more of the Cabernet Sauvignon, but can’t find the pic :-). This wine is a Wonderful deal at: $25 by the 6-pk or
The Previous Feature is this Beautiful Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc from Etincelle. Crisps, Dry & Complex, not to mention Quite Affordable! Here is a tasting note, to refresh your memory: The first time you smelled tropical fruits like kiwi and passionfruit on spring break in the Bahamas Rich, fruity, opulent and luscious! Fair warning though, there are only about 8 cases left, so if you want some, order soon! This wine is a Steal at: $14 by the 6-pk or
Only about 3 cases left of this vintage
Here is a Chardonnay you might just fall in love with, especially at these prices. Here is a review: The 2018 Chardonnay is a very pretty, nuanced wine that deftly balances textural richness and vibrancy. Lemon peel, orchard fruit, mint and bright floral notes are finely sculpted in this classy, wonderfully polished Chardonnay from Freemark Abbey. This wine would normally sell for $35-$40, an it’s worth that price, however we can sell it to you for: $27 by the 6-pk or
Only about 3 6-packs left of this vintage
Zinfandel Anyone? Zins & Petite Sirahs have been some of the Most Popular wines this past year, and we have one to offer, that is not only Delicious, but the price is incredibly Tasty Too! This wine “Offers a lively beam of crisp acidity, paired with complex and precise blueberry, raspberry, white pepper and licorice flavors that build richness toward a long finish.” Hartford Russian River Old Vine Zinfandel 2017 is available, while it lasts, for Incredible Savings. Normally selling for between $40 & $50, we got Such a Deal, and can offer it to you for: $27 by the 6-pk or
Only about 3 cases left of this vintage
Now here is a Sauvignon Blanc for Sauvignon Blanc Lovers. This is pretty much Brennon Leighton’s Favorite White Varietal, and he does it Right!
This wine needs a bit of explanation. I have had a couple customers say “Hey, I saw this wine at Costco for about $13″….Wrong. I know it’s confusing, but this is a Single Vineyard Cabernet, from K Vintners “Single Vineyard Collection”. The one at Costco is fine, nowhere near as serious of wine as the one we are offering, just sayin’ Now for you Cabernet Sauvignon Fans, we have 2 to offer this week. The 1st one is the CS Cab from Stoneridge Vineyard, and here are a couple reviews: 92+ Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate “Coming from a terrific site on the Wahluke Slope, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Stoneridge is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon raised all in French oak. Classic Cabernet notes of plum, cassis, hoisin sauce and graphite all give way to a full- bodied, concentrated red that has an undeniable chalky minerality on the finish. It’s impressive today, but it will keep for at least a decade.” 93 Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate “The 2013 Super Substance Cabernet Sauvignon Stoneridge has a sexy profile and has amble black currants, licorice, graphite and spice to go with medium to full-bodied richness, ultrafine tannin, solid mid-palate concentration and a great finish. Like all of the wines here, the winemaking is impeccable and while this can be enjoyed in its youth, it will have 15+ years of longevity as well.” This wine sells for $45 at the winery, but again, old friends and great deals make this available to you for: $35 by the 6-pk or
And Now, for the weekly Grand Finale, here is a true show stopper! This blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc & 25% Merlot is BEAUTIFUL!! Here is what the critics have to say about this wine, and I know, sometimes the wine writers describe thing in a weird way, but they really like the wine 🙂
Now here is another Beautiful wine, and spectacular package from Michael David. They are on a roll, and have really stepped up their game. This Lodi Chardonnay could easily sell for around $25 to $30, but we can now sell it to you for $20 by the 6-pk or
Now here is another Stellar Wine at a Great Price. Conn Creek Anthology 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is availble online for between $50-$60, but we got a Great Deal and can offer it to you for a limited time for $32 by the 6-pk or
Only about 2 6-packs left
And for something a bit different, but delicious, none-the-less, here is another one, but this time it is from Italy, and made by a Very good friend, and Amazing Winemaker, Lucio Gomiero, from Vignalta. This Brut Rose is made from a grape called Raboso Friularo, and drinks like a true Champagne Rose. This wine is a Steal at $30!! Quantities are quite limited however, so it will be 1st come…..
If you don’t take advantage of this feature, you don’t know what you are missing!!! And for the Deal of the Century, and something Incredibly Special, how about a Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon with some bottle age? I mean, some Real Bottle Age, but still drinking Incredibly, especially for the vintage which is 2000 (yes you read that right!). We drank a bottle with Christmas Prime Rib, and it was SOOOOO Gooood!!! This wine normally sells for $100 a bottle, but we got a Great Deal, and can sell it to you for only $50 a bottle by the 6-pk & $48 a bottle in a mixed case
Only 2 6-pks left Michael-David (check out their Very Fun Website, which is like a trip to the Circus) https://michaeldavidwinery.com/ was selected as Winery of the Year, and their Freakshow Zin has been a huge success in our quarantine cases and Feature Sales, so we have decided to offer a couple of their other wines, and Great savings!
And for a Really Fun wine, how about some Petite Petit, which is a blend comprised of 85% Petite Sirah and 15% Petit Verdot, Petite Petit is a large, weighty, knock-your-socks-off type of wine! Showcasing aromas of dark fruit, raspberry and fig, this wine is layered with rich flavors of black cherry, cola and light oak on the palate. Dark, full bodied and deeply satisfying! This wine also sells for $18 at the winery, but again, you can buy it for $14 by the 6-pk or

And this is another Sweet Deal, on a bottle of Whistle Pig Maple Syrup, which has been aged in Rye Whisky Barrels. It is, of course, Great on Pancakes & Waffles, but I like to use it in my Whisky Sours & Old Fashions, to replace the Simple Syrup, and give it a little more of a Whisky Kick (sssshhh, it’s a secret 🙂 $20 a bottle, and well worth the price! ___ Btls
Portale San Severo Montepulciano (I was able to get my hands on a few more cases 🙂 If you are looking for a very nice full-bodied Red, that drinks well on its own, and pairs well with Numerous foods, you don’t want to miss out on this little Gem. And it is Almost Free! Normally selling for $12 or more, I can offer this to you for $10 a bottle by the 6-pack and
Bogle Phantom Chardonnay A Hauntingly Delicious Wine. Phantom Chardonnay entices with its rich layers. This wine normally sells for between $20 & $22, but here is the deal. $16 a bottle by the 6-pack or
Bogle Juggernaut Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside vineyards are special, and so is the wine that is crafted from them. PURITY, INTENSITY AND SEAMLESS STRUCTURE: French oak beautifully transforms intense mountain fruit into a wine with uncommon richness, yet smooth and luxurious texture. Juggernaut Hillside Cabernet is a wine that is fierce, brave and delicious.
Substance Chardonnay from Frenchman Hills Vineyard Now this wine normally sells for $18-$20, but I can sell it for $13 a bottle by the 6-pk or
