I have some new Features to help you re-stock your Spirits Inventories, and these are Real Bargains!!
Please scroll down for details.
One of my good customers had asked me to attach my spirits list to this email, but unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that in Mailchimp. I will do some more research over the next week or so, but in the meantime, feel free to drop me a line and request it, and I will happily send you the most recent list.
On another note, we are getting a Lot of questions about bringing Live Music back to NCB. There are a Lot of pieces of this puzzle to put together, in order to do this safely and in a way that makes sense for the musicians as well as for NCB. I have been in discussions with a Number of artists, and many of them are still hesitant to play out, until they And the majority of the audiences have been fully vaccinated. There is also the situation we have regarding capacity & spacing of tables/guests. Until we can safely seat enough people in our limited venue, it won’t make financial sense for the artists. There is also the fact that, for the last year, the Wine & Spirits sales have been what has allowed us to stay open at all, and until we see more Diners & Take-out customers, it doesn’t make sense to move all of that inventory to make room for more tables.
We hope to start doing some live music in the next couple months, on a trial basis, probably on weekends, and most likely with either solo or duo acts. This would allow us to keep things safely spaced out, while hopefully insuring the musicians make enough money to justify their time & efforts.
I am open to input and to answering any further questions you might have, but in the meantime this is a topic of regular conversation & consideration. It Will happen, we are just not sure how or when, so please be patient.
Now, for some new offerings, for your summer cocktails, we have a few really nice, and incredibly affordable Spirit Features this week.
I also want to remind all of you that we are Still offering our Quarantine Cases, but we may need to come up with a new name for them. Please scroll down near the bottom for details.

That’s just how it works 🙂
These next 3 New Features are All part of the Sazarac Family!

Platinum 7x Vodka has a very smooth taste and makes one mean screwdriver. It doesn’t have that strong “I just drank rubbing alcohol,” aftertaste like most inexpensive vodkas do. One would venture to say it’s even on the light side despite it being a normal 80 proof spirit.
This is a 1 liter bottle and your price, which includes all Washington State Liquor taxes is only
$18 a bottle
___ Btls OR
$16 a btl on a mix of any 3 bottles Sazarac Brands

Now as the weather improves and you have the BBQ all ready to fire up, and you want a nice G&T, here is something for you!
Miles Gin exhibits gentle pine and juniper on the nose. Sedate and very traditional with a hint of ethanol. There’s juniper with a pine-forward side, a lemon candy note and an astringent, drying finish.Pine notes come on mid-palate, suggesting classic juniper. There’s a citrus note that follows in short order. Again, this is a 1 liter bottle, and your price is
$18 a bottle
___ Btls OR
$16 a btl on a mix of any 3 bottles Sazarac Brands

And finally, for you Bourbon drinkers, this should do the trick, without breaking the Bank.
Zackariah Harris Bourbon Quite sweet as well with thick, orange-infused caramel and cinnamon honey on buttered toast. Vanilla bean, toasted coconut, creamed corn and decent rye notes helps give even more unexpected complexity. Strong cinnamon, rough sawn oak, and faint hint of star anise. And it also comes in a 1 liter bottle for only
$18 a bottle

Since Spring has Sprung, it’s time to reload on some nice whites, and we have something we think will be perfect for your BBQs & Picnics. This wine is described as “Elegant and crisp with a delicate, fruity bouquet. A perfect accompaniment to foods such as fresh pastas, seafood, poultry and veal. Or simply enjoy on its own.”
It is available for the Very Reasonable price of:
$11 by the 6-pk or
$9 by the case
___ Btls

I have also come across and Amazing California Cabernet Sauvignon at a Stupid Price (& I mean that in the best of ways 🙂
This Fleury Estate Lauren Bryce Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 is described here:
“A gorgeous color, bright yet deep crimson turning mahogany near the edge. Dark and inviting aromatics with cassis, black plum, ripe cherry, and nutmeg concoct the broodingly deep nose. Fig and balsamic notes join black cherries as the silky tannins coat the mouth. Persistent, elegant and at peak drinkability with chocolate and white pepper notes lingering on the long, complex finish. The ultimate pairings range from red wine braised short ribs with wild mushrooms to an exotic eggplant moussaka.
This wine, If you can find it, sells for anywhere from $85-$125 a bottle online, but we got a Screaming Deal on a few cases, and can offer it to you for:
$50 by the 6-pk or
$48 by the case

Now this is something we haven’t tried before, but what the heck, let’s give it a shot. We have been playing around with a twist on our Classic Manhattan, and this one is called a Black Rye Manhattan. It consists of 2 oz Michter’s Rye, Foro Amaro & Sweet Vermouth. )We recommend Dolin Rouge @ $18 a bottle.)
The Rye is normally at $65 a bottle (All Wa St Liquor Taxes included), and the Foro is normally $45, but you can have the Combo for $90, while the deal lasts.
___ Michter’s Rye & Foro Combo

Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
This wine was a Hit, when I offered the previous vintage as a Feature a few months back, but this new vintage is even Better!!
Here are the Winemaker Notes:
Deep ruby in color, Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon expresses aromas of fresh black currants and cherries accompanied by subtle smoky notes and dried spices. On the palate, this lavish powerful wine is layered with juicy blackberry, ripe cherry, vanilla bean and brown butter. It’s full-bodied and rich, balanced by a touch of bright acidity and firm polished tannin
This first New Feature can be had for about $47 at Costco, and anywhere from $42-$60 online, but we can offer it to you for:
$35 by the 6-pk or
$33 by the case

Now for something Really Spectacular. these next 2 features are worth the money, especially at these prices, and drink beautifully right now, but they will cellar nicely for at Least 10 years.

Caymus-Suisun Grand Durif 2017
Here are the Winemaker Notes:
Suisun (su-soon) Valley, which lies to the Southeast of Caymus, is only a 40-minute drive and reminds the Wagner family of Napa Valley 40 years ago. With its warm days and cool nights, the region is known for delicious stone fruits and walnuts – increasingly, it is also gaining recognition for its wine. Durif is synonymous with Petite Sirah, the widely grown grape in the region – they added “Grand” to the name of the Suisun-grown Durif because it has a grand style. With lush textural tannins, this wine is rich, supple and totally enjoyable.
This wine is available online for anywhere from $55-$63, but with the deal we got, we can now offer it to you for:
$43 by the 6-pk or
$40 by the case
___ Btls

Tenuta Di Arceno Valadorna 2015
OK, I made a Huge typo mistake in last my couple emails. I sold a few bottles of this wine at pretty much my cost, so this price is correct. Sorry for any confusion, but it is Still an Amazing Deal on a Delicious Wine!
And Finally, for an Incredible Super Tuscan, just read this description of the blend and tasting notes, and decide for yourself if this isn’t worth a try:
The Wine Advocate scored this 95+ points saying “The 2015 Valadorna (65% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot) is a dark and thickly endowed red wine that boasts a rich and lasting grip on the palate. The bouquet offers depth and complexity with dark fruit, leather, cured tobacco and spice. There are also softer notes of chocolate and ground espresso beans. The wine’s seamless integration of flavors leads to increased momentum and intensity as the wine continues to open in the glass.”
Again, this is available online for anywhere from $55-$80, but with the Quantity Buy we just made, you can buy this Beauty for:
$45 by the 6-pk or
$43 by the case
___ Btls

We are able top revisit one of the Greatest Hits from last year, since the distributor was able to get their hands on more Basel Cabernet, at a slightly higher price, but still a Great Deal! (The pic is the Cab Franc, but we actually are getting more of the Cabernet Sauvignon, but can’t find the pic :-). This wine is a Wonderful deal at:
$25 by the 6-pk or
$22 by the case
___ Btls

The Previous Feature is this Beautiful Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc from Etincelle. Crisps, Dry & Complex, not to mention Quite Affordable! Here is a tasting note, to refresh your memory:
The first time you smelled tropical fruits like kiwi and passionfruit on spring break in the Bahamas
Rich, fruity, opulent and luscious!
Fair warning though, there are only about 8 cases left, so if you want some, order soon!
This wine is a Steal at:
$14 by the 6-pk or
$12 by the case
___ Btls
* Only about 2 cases left of this vintage

Here is a Chardonnay you might just fall in love with, especially at these prices. Here is a review:
The 2018 Chardonnay is a very pretty, nuanced wine that deftly balances textural richness and vibrancy. Lemon peel, orchard fruit, mint and bright floral notes are finely sculpted in this classy, wonderfully polished Chardonnay from Freemark Abbey.
This wine would normally sell for $35-$40, an it’s worth that price, however we can sell it to you for:
$27 by the 6-pk or
$25 by the case
___ Btls
* Only about 2 6-packs left of this vintage

Zinfandel Anyone? Zins & Petite Sirahs have been some of the Most Popular wines this past year, and we have one to offer, that is not only Delicious, but the price is incredibly Tasty Too!
This wine “Offers a lively beam of crisp acidity, paired with complex and precise blueberry, raspberry, white pepper and licorice flavors that build richness toward a long finish.”

Now here is a Sauvignon Blanc for Sauvignon Blanc Lovers. This is pretty much Brennon Leighton’s Favorite White Varietal, and he does it Right!
Here are a couple reviews:
93 Points, James Suckling
“This is a dense, phenolic white with dried lemon-rind, sliced-apple and honey character. Fullbodied, layered and flavorful. Lots of zesty character. Lots of limey character. 50% fermented
in concrete and some large barrels. Natural yeast. Drink or hold..”
91+ Points, Jeb Dunnuck (formerly of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate)
“All Sauvignon Blanc brought up in a mix of barrel and concrete, the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc
Vineyard Collection offers a beautiful, steely style that has ample mid-palate richness and
depth. Tart pineapple and citrus notes, plenty of minerality, and a crisp, clean finish make for a
terrific, classic Sauvignon that will evolve for 2-3 years, if not longer.”
This wine sells for $20 at the Winery, but due to a special deal we worked out, you can buy it for:
$16 by the 6-pk or
$14 by the case
___ Btls

This wine needs a bit of explanation. I have had a couple customers say “Hey, I saw this wine at Costco for about $13″….Wrong. I know it’s confusing, but this is a Single Vineyard Cabernet, from K Vintners “Single Vineyard Collection”. The one at Costco is fine, nowhere near as serious of wine as the one we are offering, just sayin’
Now for you Cabernet Sauvignon Fans, we have 2 to offer this week. The 1st one is the CS Cab from Stoneridge Vineyard, and here are a couple reviews:
92+ Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
“Coming from a terrific site on the Wahluke Slope, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Stoneridge
is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon raised all in French oak. Classic Cabernet notes of plum, cassis,
hoisin sauce and graphite all give way to a full- bodied, concentrated red that has an undeniable
chalky minerality on the finish. It’s impressive today, but it will keep for at least a decade.”
93 Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
“The 2013 Super Substance Cabernet Sauvignon Stoneridge has a sexy profile and has amble
black currants, licorice, graphite and spice to go with medium to full-bodied richness, ultrafine tannin, solid mid-palate concentration and a great finish. Like all of the wines here, the
winemaking is impeccable and while this can be enjoyed in its youth, it will have 15+ years of
longevity as well.”
This wine sells for $45 at the winery, but again, old friends and great deals make this available to you for:
$35 by the 6-pk or
$32 by the case
___ Btls

Now here is another Beautiful wine, and spectacular package from Michael David. They are on a roll, and have really stepped up their game. This Lodi Chardonnay could easily sell for around $25 to $30, but we can now sell it to you for

This wine is a Steal at $30!! Quantities are quite limited however, so it will be 1st come…..

___ Btls
